About the role
We are seeking a driven and proactive change manager, or candidate with relevant transferable skills, to join the Enterprise Change team. As the Enterprise Change Manager, you will be responsible for for driving and managing enterprise change for strategic projects considering the impacts and requirements for business units, customers, partners and/or frontline staff.
Your primary goal will be to ensure employee engagement with the change/s and where applicable improvements in customer experience. Successful adoption of change includes smooth transition of new processes, systems, and technologies, that enable us to scale sustainably.
A natural problem solver, you possess strong communication abilities, and a desire to learn how to implement and embed change programs at Tyro. Your curious mindset could be applied to a wide variety of change programs including new product and features releases, pricing, systems implementation, automation, and communications across all business units.
What you'll do
Planning
Work closely with the Team Lead and all Tyro departments to gather information to finalise the project brief, including success metrics and mapping of current and future processes and CX. Keep these updated throughout project delivery.
Look out for potential points of resistance to change and work with the project team to develop specific plans to mitigate or address potential risks and issues that could influence the outcomes of change.
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
Build strong relationships and effectively communicate the rationale, benefits, and impact of strategic changes.
Develop and deliver clear, concise, and compelling customer and staff communication materials, including emails, presentations, timelines, briefing and FAQs, to keep stakeholders informed and engaged throughout the change process.
Contribute to, and lead where necessary check in meetings, workshops, and “break it sessions” to address concerns, gather feedback, and promote a positive change culture.
Manage projects and change to ensure new processes and ways of working are rolled out smoothly and embedded.
Change Impact Assessment and Readiness:
Using the Change Impact Assessment, collaborate with project teams, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to assess the impact of change on all departments, identifying potential risks, challenges, and opportunities
Create change management plans appropriate to the complexity and scope required, including communication strategies, risk, training coordination, customer communications, knowledge management content and training materials.
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand readiness for change and contribute to Go/No Go decisions on the projects you support; clearly articulating how you have come to your recommendation.
Change Execution and Support:
Lead and facilitate change management activities, including change workshops, coaching sessions, and user acceptance testing, to support the successful implementation of operational projects
Lead the design and deployment of customer communication programs required to support the operational components of the change.
Ensure documentation is up to date including JIRA, confluence, change framework and workstream and SteerCo packs – to assist with team understanding of status of change initiatives.
Continuous Improvement and Evaluation:
Collect data and feedback to measure the success of change initiatives as outlined at the beginning of the project.
Use Tyro data team and SMEs to analyse data and understand whether change has been successfully adopted.
Work with Team Lead to recommend plans to reinforce change when required.
Continue to develop change management skills including use of templates, tools and methodologies used at Tyro and look for professional development opportunities; to understand industry best practices and lessons learned.
Support Tyro's value of 'Wowing the Customer' by challenging the status quo, and where appropriate, questioning how we do things at Tyro.
What you'll bring
Proven experience delivering change management across complex projects, working closely with project teams and stakeholders to define success metrics, future-state processes, and customer experience outcomes.
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to clearly communicate the rationale, benefits, and impacts of change to both internal teams and customers.
Analytical mindset with the ability to assess change impacts, anticipate risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
Experience creating and delivering effective change plans, including communications, training coordination, customer messaging, and knowledge management materials.
Proactive, adaptable, and able to thrive in ambiguous environments while prioritising competing demands.
A data-driven and continuous improvement mindset, using feedback and insights to measure adoption, evaluate success, and recommend reinforcement actions when needed.
A customer-first approach aligned to Tyro’s values, with the curiosity and confidence to challenge the status quo and improve how we work.
