About the role
At Tyro, our Senior People Partner is more than a trusted advisor - they are a strategic force behind business performance.
This role sits at the intersection of strategy, leadership and culture. You'll partner with Executive Leaders and Senior Leaders to translate business ambition into people outcomes, lift capability across Tyro and build the conditions for sustained high performance.
You'll lead the full people lifecycle, shape meaningful change and ensure our people strategy doesn't just support the business - it accelerates it.
What you'll do
Strategic Partnership & Impact
Design and deliver annual people strategies aligned to business objective.
Provide proactive, commercially grounded advice to Senior and Executive Leaders.
Translate data and insights into clear action that drives performance.
High-Performance & Cyclical Practices
Lead performance, talent, succession, remuneration and engagement cycles.
Ensure strong performance calibration and meaningful talent outcomes.
Strengthen succession bench health and long-term capability planning.
Leadership & Capability
Coach Executive and Senior Leaders to elevate performance and leadership impact.
Facilitate senior leader sessions, team effectiveness workshops, 360 feedback processes and leadership forums.
Build leadership confidence in navigating complex people matters.
Lead, coach, develop and mentor other people partners.
Employee Relations & Governance
Lead complex performance and employee relations matters with clarity and integrity.
Ensure fair, consistent and commercially sound decision-making.
Workforce Insights & Planning
Drive workforce reporting and actionable insights.
Use data to identify trends, risk and opportunities in engagement, attrition and capability.

What you'll bring
You're an experienced Senior People Partner who operates at pace and at depth.
You have a track record of:
Accelerating business outcomes through insight-led decision-making and confident stakeholder influence.
Delivering end-to-end people strategy, including performance, talent, succession and reward cycles.
Navigating complex employee relations matters with sound judgement.
Leading change and building capability in senior stakeholders.
Simplifying complexity, connecting strategy to practical people outcomes.
Fostering collaboration, leading small teams and working cross-functionally to deliver impact.
Growing and developing more junior people partners.
You think commercially, communicate clearly and challenge constructively. You're comfortable in ambiguity, confident with data, and motivated by lifting both performance and culture.
