About the role

The Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis plays a key role in supporting the Senior Manager and the broader Finance team. A key part of the role is partnering with the business to help drive growth. This position is responsible for delivering clear insights into Tyro’s financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and overall business health. The role involves building robust financial forecasts and budgets, conducting in-depth analysis, and identifying key business drivers to support strategic decision-making.

You will also review historical performance and forecast future outcomes using data from internal teams, customers, market trends, and broader economic indicators

What you'll do

• Serve as a Finance Business Partner to specific departments and senior leaders, to support opportunities to drive growth and find efficiencies.

• Deliver executive reporting with driver-based analysis and advice on business and financial performance.

• Contribute to process improvements through automation of financial reporting and accounting systems.

• Assist in developing and refining budgeting practices and financial guidelines.

• Translate complex data into clear trends, implications, and actionable recommendations.

• Build and review financial models to support business cases and strategic initiatives.

• Develop content for presentations and reports to gain alignment on financial strategies.

• Collect and consolidate financial and non-financial data from multiple sources.

What you'll bring

• CA or CPA qualification is essential.

• Proven ability to work with business stakeholders in a commercial setting.

• Strong finance business partnering and stakeholder engagement skills - challenges assumptions and driving growth across Tyro.

• Advanced analytical capabilities, with proficiency in Excel (incl. macros, advanced formulas); experience with TM1 / Snowflake / Tableau / Power BI or similar is a plus.

• The ability to work independently while also contributing positively to team outcomes.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in PowerPoint.

• Experience in or with financial services organisations is desirable.

• An understanding of how AI can be used to improve the quality and delivery of financial analysis, forecasting, and insights.

• Initiative, curiosity, a proactive mindset, and a willingness to learn and grow.
