About the role
As a Visual Designer at Tyro, you will play a key part in building our brand image and reputation.
You're responsible for bringing our brand to life through visual design. This can be in the form of engaging advertising, billboards, how-to guides, video animations, digital, social media, print, white-paper layouts, executive presentations and event collateral. You'll also assist teams to do their own designs via basic templates and self-serve systems.
What you'll do
Visual Design
Create thumb-stopping assets for digital and social media.
Create visual content and designs to support blogs, how-to guides, webpages, e-books, flyers, packaging and events.
Deliver creative concepts and designs through sketches, layouts, mock-ups, mood-boards and prototypes.
Creative Development
Interpret creative briefs to determine best way to meet unique objectives and deliver high quality creative.
Present concepts and designs to stakeholders for feedback and approval.
Creative Enablement
Help non-designers to fix assets or enable basic designs through Canva or self-service systems and folders.
Support design requirements with senior leadership on important documents such as annual reports or all-company presentations.
Manage the Brand Library of designs, videos, photos and animations including usage licensing, permissions, and talent releases
Photography and Motion
Ability to do 2D video animations to explain what our products can do.
Ability to create lifestyle, product, and corporate events photography.
Plan, schedule, and shoot Tyro employee professional headshots sessions
What you'll bring
4-6 years’ experience in design within creative agencies or client-side roles.
A solid foundation in design principles and graphic design.
Highly proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite and standard industry software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After effects, Premiere, Audition, Light Room and Figma).
A strong passion for creating engaging content and bringing things to life.
Strong communication skills: You’re excited about collaborating with marketers, but you can also manage expectations.
An understanding of effective digital and social media ad-formats and content.
Experience in professional photography, digital retouching, motion graphics, HTML5 and/or videography is highly regarded
