About the role
Tyro Health is rapidly expanding, we are looking for a Product Manager to drive the technical product roadmap for our healthcare payments and claims solutions. You'll work closely with engineering and design teams to deliver innovative features that drive growth across our healthcare verticals.
Due to the nature of our work and regulatory requirements, applicants must hold Australian Citizenship or Australian Permanent Residency
What you'll do
Analyse market trends, customer needs, and technical opportunities to identify high-impact product opportunities.
Develop and maintain the product roadmap, outlining priorities to optimise business outcomes.
Work closely with design teams to create experiences that simplify the complex and reduce admin.
Partner with engineering teams to define technical requirements and ensure efficient delivery.
Collaborate with marketing and customer operations to maximise impact of new features and ensure teams are equipped to handle change.
What you'll bring
1+ years' experience as a product manager of a digital product, specifically a cloud-based or SaaS product undergoing rapid change.
A strong technical and agile development understanding, with experience writing requirements for complex systems and ability to understand technical constraints and opportunities.
A track record of translating product strategy into innovative features that deliver against business objectives and driving fast, incremental delivery, balancing speed to market with quality and customer value.
Delivered well-designed products that are simple and easy to use, with experience in user research and rapid prototype development.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities in complex environments, enthusiasm for and ability to learn quickly, and capability to make effective decisions with imperfect information.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally; values team-based decision making and building shared ownership of a product vision.
Nice to have:
1-3 years experience in a similar role (including software development, technical, or design role), ideally in healthcare and/or practice management software and/or payments.
Experience incorporating AI capabilities into product development, including understanding of use cases, limitations and implementation considerations.
