About the role
As a Delivery Lead - Merchant Experience, you’ll sit at the centre of the action, driving the end-to-end delivery of initiatives that shape how merchants discover, onboard, engage with and grow through Tyro.
You will lead delivery across our Merchant App(s), Merchant Portal, digital onboarding journeys and Salesforce ecosystem, ensuring every touchpoint feels seamless, fast and distinctly Tyro.
This is not a traditional project role. It’s a high-impact delivery leadership role where you will:
Orchestrate cross-functional squads across Product, Engineering and Operations.
Drive clarity in complexity across multiple platforms.
Accelerate execution while maintaining quality and risk discipline.
Champion continuous improvement in how we deliver.
You will remove friction, create momentum, and ensure our teams are set up to win - while always keeping the merchant at the centre.
What you'll do
End-to-End Merchant Experience Delivery
Drive delivery of strategic initiatives across Merchant Apps (mobile), Merchant Portal (web), digital onboarding flows and Salesforce platforms.
Ensure initiatives are clearly defined with strong definitions of ready and done.
Translate business and product strategy into executable delivery roadmaps.
Align priorities across multiple value streams impacting the merchant journey
Cross-Platform Orchestration
Coordinate dependencies across mobile, web, backend services and Salesforce and other portfolios.
Partner with Sales, Operations and Customer teams to ensure technology outcomes enable commercial success.
Delivery Excellence
Lead sprint ceremonies, planning sessions, design workshops and retros.
Identify and proactively manage risks, blockers and competing priorities.
Ensure delivered outcomes meet quality standards and are production-ready.
Embed scalable delivery practices and continuously improve ways of working
Stakeholder Management
Maintain clear, transparent communication with sponsors and senior stakeholders.
Balance speed with thoughtful scope management · Influence without authority in a complex, multi-squad environment.
Continuous Improvement
Contribute to and elevate Tyro’s Agile delivery best practices.
Foster a culture of ownership, accountability and experimentation.
Encourage iterative delivery and data-informed decision making.
What you'll bring
Previous experience working as a Delivery Lead, ideally driving delivery across multiple platforms (mobile, web and Salesforce).
Technical background as a Business Analyst, Scrum Master, Iteration Manager, Project Manager, Quality Assurance Lead, Engineer or similar.
Project Management experience and strong skills with Jira and Confluence.
Great communication and ability to engage and collaborate with all parts of the business, from engineering to product, sales and executives.
Analytical, with the ability to represent a complex problem in simple terms.
Enthusiastic and likes problem solving and being hands on.
Comfortable with ambiguity, relishes challenges and is comfortable working across team boundaries.
