About the role
At Tyro, we're rethinking the way Australian businesses take payments and our Sales team plays a critical role in making that happen.
As a Sales Executive, you'll connect with businesses that are already interested in Tyro, understand what they need and help them choose the right payment solution. You'll own the relationship from the first conversation through to a completed application, joining a high-performing team where success is recognised, development is prioritised and great people build long-term careers.
What you'll do
Manage a steady flow of inbound leads and referrals, connecting with businesses looking for the right payment solution.
Own the end-to-end sales journey, from first conversation through to completed application.
Build trusted relationships with business owners, taking the time to understand their needs and recommend solutions that deliver real value.
Manage multiple opportunities at once, maintaining a healthy pipeline while delivering against service level agreements and sales targets.
Navigate pricing conversations and confidently demonstrate the value of Tyro's solutions in a competitive market.
Deliver a seamless customer experience through responsive communication, strong follow-up and excellent attention to detail.
Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team that's passionate about helping Australian businesses succeed.
What you'll bring
A minimum of one year's experience working in a corporate environment, preferably in an inbound or outbound sales role, with an understanding of working towards KPIs and performance targets.
Confidence using technology and quickly learning new systems in a fast-paced environment.
A collaborative approach and strong alignment with Tyro's values, particularly Win Together.
A high level of ownership and accountability, with the ability to manage your own pipeline and deliver on your commitments.
Ambition, drive and a genuine motivation to succeed in a commission-driven sales environment.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to understand customer needs and build trust.
A growth mindset with a willingness to learn, embrace coaching and continuously develop your sales career.
